About KZ650.Info

This site started design on April 6th, 2006. I wanted a site to reference anything about the Kawasaki KZ650 motorcycle. What inspired this? Well, lets see...

I had just aquired a 1979 KZ650 C3 from a guy down in Salem. This bike was not in horrible shape, but had been somewhat abused being left out under a lean-to with half of her covers off. It took the guy two weeks to get all the parts together that he could FIND! Needless to say, I was still missing quite a few.

Now, I went out onto the web and visited some forums that I was already a member of and some that I wasn't to try and get some help from others who owned the 650's. I got a lot of great help, but still seemed to be missing several things. Some questions even went unanswered. Well, since I am a pretty anal guy when it comes to motorcycles, I wanted as much information as I could about this bike. I found that there are a lot of good sites to find out about the 650, but none that I found had it all. So I got to thinking about this and decided that there are enough of these bikes still on the road that it was time to get a site that contained as much information about this bike as is humanly possible. Thus KZ650.info was born.

Why KZ650.info? Well, because KZ650.com was already taken. (Don't worry, I looked and the site is not up.) Plus, since I am putting mainly information on this site, I thought the .info extension was a good choice.

So what's next? Well, I am still working on different sections of this site, so parts may be up and down. But please feel free to take a look around, and if you have any suggestions, please share them with me. Until I can get a form on this site, please email me and let me know what you think.
